Jasper Jones

One hot night in 1965, Jasper Jones, the town’s mixed race outcast, shows bookish teen Charlie Bucktin the dead body of a young girl. Believing Jasper to be innocent, Charlie embarks on a dangerous journey to find the true killer. A uniquely Australian coming-of-age story.

NB: the Wed 14 June screening of this film will be an Open Caption version (English subtitles and occasional descriptions of sounds on-screen). It's part of our effort to make cinema accessible to the broader community, in this case deaf and hard of hearing.
